Real estate concept

The aim of this industrial zone is to prepare a land suitable for building-up new projects and to offer an adequate space for industrial activities especially for companies decided to settle here and help the region with lowering of the unemployment. Foreign or local small to medium enterprises are welcomed predominantly. Currently there are 3 bigger companies located in the town which employs most of the inhabitants of neighbourhood municipalities. Thus, the main plan is to prepare conditions favourable for local production company development, in order not to replace its investment activities to the other location.

Real estate profile

The Boskovice industrial zone is solving complete transformation of the former mined out brick clay source to the land intended for industrial companies building. There is a frontage road planned within the site which is ensuring good accessibility of all plots. This road will join the most frequented town entrance in the direction to Brno, where the most of existing industrial companies are located.

Development opportunities

The industrial zone can be extended with several other sites. There are 16 ha already prepared at present.  To enable smooth operation, connection of sufficient capacity to the electrical power distribution network will be required, as well as rainwater sewage and the above-mentioned frontage road. Due to the fact that the opportunities of connecting the area to technical infrastructure networks have not yet been assessed in greater detail, it is expected that the overall time period required to implement the investment project will be somewhat longer. Technical infrastructure connection should be finished till the end of 2007. The first new company can be settled on the site in 2007.
