Services

Foreign direct investment support in the Southern Moravia Region, i.e. the former districts of Brno-city, Brno-district, Blansko, Břeclav, Hodonín, Vyškov, and Znojmo, is one of the main tasks of Regional Development Agency of South Moravia (RDA SM) in the area of enterprise support. 

RDA SM offers its services to the following customer groups: 

  • Potential investors
  • Municipalities
  • Businesses in the region

Our central activities in the area of foreign direct investment support include free services for potential investors, after-care service for investors, and activities aimed at strengthening ties between foreign investors and local supplier firms and R&D institutions. Other activities include cooperation with the Investment and Business Development Agency CzechInvest, preparation of presentations and promotion materials, facilitation of contacts with state and local authorities and providing offers of appropriate real estate. RDA SM provides updated commercial real estate offers; currently we have a database of approximately twenty industrial zones in various stages of preparation for investments as well as several existing industrial objects and administrative centres.

Services for potential investors in the South Moravian region

RDA SM provides potential investors with free information on the region, free advising concerning the selection of suitable real estate objects and supplier firms as well as advising focused on available investment incentives. We also facilitate contacts between potential investors and state and local authorities (town offices, labour offices, Foreigner’s Police), educational institutions, and advising firms (HR agencies, consultation firms, real estate agencies). 

Services for municipalities in the region of South Moravia 

RDA SM provides municipalities in the South Moravian region with advice in the process of preparing industrial zones, i.e. evaluation of zones with respect to their suitability for foreign investors, recommends optimal location selection and provides basic information on the process of applying for infrastructure development subsidies. Development zones are presented to potential investors during their visits to the region. RDA SM also administers the One-stop-shop programme, which is aimed at providing contacts and information from one place.

Services for business in the region of South Moravia

RDA SM conducts activities which support local businesses while making use of foreign investments in the region. It does so using these tools: 

  • Facilitating offers of commercial real estate
  • Providing information about opportunities to participate in supplier programmes
  • Free information service on new foreign investments
